Climate Change and Indigenous rights can seem like two very separate things. The reality is climate change and the drivers of climate change have deep impacts on the rights of Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous peoples knowledge, ways of life and culture hold critical solutions to addressing, combating and adapting to climate change. From understanding the basics of climate change including the drivers of climate change to understanding the intersections of Indigenous rights advocacy and Indigenous reconciliation the Indigenous Climate Action Climate Change toolkit recenters climate justice from an Indigenous perspective. Join this workshop to explore this new and exciting project and learn how you can get involved.
