Think Ocean: Water literacy in Alberta

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Where does your water come from? Where does it go after you’ve used it? If you aren’t sure, you aren’t alone! Alberta may be landlocked, but we’re still directly connected to the ocean and rely on it more than you might think. Join Alberta Environment and Parks & the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition for a discussion on water literacy; from the stream behind your house to Canada’s coastline and the ocean, come explore our civic relationship with water. Learn about resources and try some hands-on activities to connect your students, family, and colleagues with positive water actions!
